With the development of QU¡¯s deputation
both at home and abroad, more and more short-term
visits and academic exchanges are being occured at
our university. Every year the University receives
dozens of foreign visiting teams (including delegations
from her friendly universities, governments, enterprises
and financial groups), hundreds of foreign visitors,
short-term lecturers and scholars. And the University
also hosts almost 50 international cultural and academic
conferences on various topics and fields. All of these
short-term programs provide us more and more chances
and channels of getting the latest developing information
about different cultures and various fields of sciences,
broadening our visions and minds, and also of other
kinds of international cooperation. Meanwhile, these
short-term programs promote the University¡¯s publicity,
and extend the international deputation of QU more
and more. Till now many of the cooperation projects
of our university is introduced by these visiting
scholars.
At invitations of overseas universities, enterprises
and organizations, QU sends more and more delegations
of the University to visit or attend international
conferences every year. All of these visits increase
the international influences of the University and
establishes much more international academic exchange
and cooperation relationships. Each year there are
more than 100 staff members to attend international
academic conferences, cooperation, exchanges and inspection
of scientific research projects. All of these programs
upgrade the academic and scientific level of our university.
Besides all of these, the University has made a breakthrough
in the projects of sending students abroad for short-term
exchanges and vocational practice. The beginning of
these programs provides the students rare chances
to know the world and is beneficial to broaden their
horizons and minds.
